What we do

IATA.co gives travel agencies and travel technology companies one place to search, price and book flights. Agencies use the booking portal: search a route, compare fares across the airlines we return, and issue from a prepaid balance that you top up when you need it. Developers use the same inventory through the flights API, so that flight search and booking can live inside their own website, app or back office.

The platform sits between you and the supply side of the industry. We connect to airline and consolidator systems, normalise what comes back into one clean result set, and handle the ticketing, so that you can sell flights without holding accreditation, bonds or airline contracts of your own.

How the prepaid balance works

There is no credit line and no monthly invoice to chase. You add funds to your IATA.co balance, every ticket is paid from that balance at the moment it is issued, and every movement is written to a ledger you can see in your dashboard at any time. Bookings never exceed what you have added, which keeps your exposure and ours predictable.

Our name and our independence

IATA.co is the name of this platform and of the domain it runs on. We are an independent company. We are not the International Air Transport Association, we are not affiliated with it, endorsed by it or operated by it, and nothing on this site should be read as a statement by that organisation. Airline names, codes and logos shown on the site belong to the airlines and are used only to identify the carrier operating a flight.

How we work

• Honest results. A fare is shown only when a supplier has returned it. We do not pad results with estimates.
• Clear rules. Airline fare rules decide what can be changed or refunded. We show them before you book and we apply them as written.
• Security first. Every page and API call runs over TLS, sessions and API keys are stored hashed, and API keys can be restricted to your own server addresses. See our security page.
