VietJet Air is a privately owned Vietnamese low-cost airline that uses the code VJ. Its main base is Ho Chi Minh City, with Hanoi and Da Nang as other large bases. It competes on Vietnam's busy domestic trunk routes and flies internationally to Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India and Australia. Fares are sold in tiers, from a basic Economy product up to SkyBoss, which bundles more services. VietJet is not in an alliance.
