It was launched by the business community of Sialkot, an export-oriented industrial city in Pakistan's Punjab province, the same community that built Sialkot International Airport (SKT). The airline is based there and also operates heavily from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. It began with domestic flights between Pakistan's main cities and has since added international routes to the Gulf and Saudi Arabia. AirSial markets itself as a full-service airline and is not part of any alliance.
