Airlink is a privately owned South African regional airline with its main base at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, plus operations from Cape Town and Durban. It specialises in routes that larger airlines tend to skip: smaller South African towns, safari gateways such as Hoedspruit and Skukuza, and cities across Southern and East Africa, including the remote island of St Helena. Airlink flies under its own 4Z code, is not in a global alliance, and has interline and codeshare agreements with many long-haul airlines, so its flights often form the last leg of an international ticket. It offers economy throughout and business class on its larger jets.
